Exactly what I was looking for.

dark closetI moved to a new house about 7 months ago and was surprised there was no light in the dressing room hallway. It is located in a place where there is no natural light, so it is difficult to look inside the closet even during the day. The previous owner put some cheap little pressure lamps on the wall and the glue didn't work so they kept falling off and still giving off light. Brand until I read a review that said their light shone like a bright spotlight. I then looked at the user submitted photos of this product and found that this was the case: all the photos looked like the UFO was emitting light downwards. I didn't want that, so I kept looking and found this. The seller here emphasized that the light has a wide field so it doesn't look like a single beam falling - which is what I wanted. In addition to this light, you can buy daylight (bright) or warm light. I wanted my closet to look the same as it would with regular overhead lighting, so I went with a warm one. make your own It's okay, but it was an extra step that I shouldn't have taken. After that, installation was so easy. Function This light looks, works and emits light like any indoor wired ceiling light. The motion detector works great when I reach into the closet and the light range and warmth of the light is perfect! I am very happy. The other nice thing is that the light goes out pretty quickly when it stops detecting motion. So when I rummage through the closet the light stays on, but as soon as I close the door the light goes off after 25 seconds. This is good for battery life Battery Tip Batteries not included. The unit uses four D batteries, but that doesn't bother me as I use an Eneloop rechargeable battery pack that I bought from Revain a few years ago. The cool thing about Eneloop D batteries is that the D size is just a case that you put an AA battery in, so a charged AA battery will provide power and the case size matches the size of your device. As a result, Eneloop D batteries weigh significantly less than conventional batteries of this size. They last a long time charging, not like batteries from 20 years ago. Check them out if you're interested. Some people have mentioned that they are concerned about the weight of the batteries for this flashlight.
