Okay, I've suffered from dandruff most of my life so let me just excise the epic personal narrative that led me to try this product and just say it works at a level which is above the normal head and shoulders. I have bouts of seborrheic dermatitis and this keeps it under control while I use it. However, this product is not without its drawbacks. Like most Head and Shoulders products it has a scent that everyone recognizes and that scent lingers in your hair for some time, it can be difficult to cover up but with a good conditioner it's not a problem. Another issue (these issues are my own of course, you may not have them) is that it dries out my hair and causes it to frizz a lot. Again, a good conditioner will take care of that, but it's important to keep your hair healthy because if you leave it on for too long or use it every day, or even multiple times a day, it can seriously damage your hair. Selsun Blue users, but want to try something different, I would recommend this to you. Clinical strength means exactly what it promises.
