This bone folder turned out much better than I expected! I'm the kind of guy who tends to buy the cheapest of the cheapest and I'm wondering what the difference could be? I have a cheap scrapbooking binder made out of "bones" (actually plastic) but I've never really liked it. It took a lot of effort to drag it across the paper and it scratched my paper. So when I started the art of book folding, I wasn't too upset when I realized I'd lost my old plastic folder. I decided to take a chance and switch from plastic to bone hoping there really is a difference like others have said. The difference is HUGE! It requires no effort to use, it just glides effortlessly across the page! It doesn't scratch or scratch my paper, and the scribe tip leaves a clean, even groove with creased spots where it caught on the paper and tried to tear it. I'm so happy with my new Bone Folder that I'm questioning my whole cheap is just as good philosophy!
