Because there were no instructions. I was confused as to how this was supposed to be attached as there is no safe way to attach it to a mount even if it fits. There's a hole on the bracket that I just can't see. and the lock really gets weakened while it's on. Chain and lock work. but it is very bulky for a bike. I think I can always put it in my backpack and carry it like that. but it is not very convenient. I would not recommend this base 2 main factors. 1 is too bulky and cannot be attached to e-scooters. 2 no instructions.
