This is the real deal. I've been cleaning windows full-time for twenty-one years. I have used all regular razor blades and this is the best I have ever used. It has a nice, heavy, strong metal head that adds panache to your movement and stiffens the razor by clamping it between the precision steel jaws. Unlike many other window cleaners, they have a heavy-duty plastic handle that fits comfortably onto the end of a bracket, allowing you to clean windows high up. The black is the same as the chrome model they did before, just painted. As with all true industrial tools, this can seriously injure you if you are not very careful. (DO NOT throw it in a bucket of water, you'll be in for a horrible surprise if you forget it's there - and you will). However, it is a tool for scraping anything and everything from window glass.
