Review on Sony FE 85Mm 1 4 Lens by Shannon Reynolds

Wow, that's an outdated lens that will be talked about for years to come. No CA at all, which is remarkable for a fast lens like this. The character and tone of this lens is beautiful. I appreciate the aperture ring on the lens barrel, it's quicker to change mid-shoot if you use it. There's a distinct noise when the lens focuses, but it's not as noticeable as some say. Heck, if that sounded like a chainsaw, I'd still use it. Compared to Zeiss 1.4 and Nikon 1.4G, I consider this lens my first choice while the others are very good.
