Useful, full-featured smartwatch with useful trackers and personalized health info

I'm very satisfied with the Venus 2s. I was blown away by the breadth and depth of information this watch offers. In addition to a variety of activities to monitor, information about general health and sleep quality is impressive and useful. I thought the Body Battery feature might be useless, but it gives good pointers on how to stay balanced throughout the day with exertion based on your activity level, sleep quality and more - on a budget. The calculation of the "fitness age” was also surprising – mainly because it provided useful pointers to specific things that need to be changed in order to improve health. The display is a big step forward. I tried the Garmin Vivo Active line and found the display to be too dim for me. The Venu 2s is bright and easy to read during exercise. Also, before I bought it, I was concerned that the font size on the Venu 2s might be too small. I thought maybe I need more Venu 2 and again I was pleasantly surprised: all the data is easy to read. Garmin support is amazing. The watch has many options and functions. The navigation was sometimes a bit confusing for me. But phone support was slow and thorough. The agent was very familiar with the product. (Note: I've used about 4 or 5 different Fitbit products over the last 10 years. I bought their latest model - the Sense. Great display but I had to return it due to a horribly erratic heart rate sensor. Your customer service is if - something great - is now being given to people reading the same script documentation that you can find yourself online. I was only offered to spend time fixing a bug that turned out to be well documented on online consumer forums. Fitbit has sunk deep , IMO.) Garmin matches the quality of product I've come to expect from them over the years of using their in-vehicle GPS units. I'm very glad I invested in this watch.

Pros
  • Health is important to you, so keep track of everything from your body's battery level, breathing, hydration and sleep stress, your menstrual cycle, estimated heart rate and more
Cons
  • Periodicity

Pretty good, but not keeping it because of Garmin's terrible sleep tracking
