I was a bit picky, wanted to keep the same external turn signals and blind spot detector. I found that if I disassembled and used the mirror adjust motor from the original unit, the mirror and adjuster would fit into the new housing with the new motor and outer frame. You have to use the original wiring harness and remove the new one and also remove the new mirror adjuster but with one small problem I have a new assembly with all the functionality of the old one. Tips: You need to cut the plugs from the puddle lamp and put another two-wire cable through the motor passage, all other plugs will fit. In any case, there are new endings for the puddle lamp, so they're really needed. You may also need some small washers for the four screws that hold the mirror adjust motor in place as the new brackets are slightly smaller. Overall very happy with the ability to fold back at a good price and quality!
