Best, best, best! For 5 years I've been working my way through hell to find the best aluminum free deodorant. I worked fine with Primal Pit Paste for a while (albeit awkward to apply with fingers) but then they changed their formula and I got swirly again. I ended up here and so glad I did. It doesn't need to be touched, heats up quickly, the smell is subtle but pleasant (which is a very good thing). I'm paranoid about being the smelly lady at the grocery store, so I'm teasing myself. charcoal paint? I put it on in a heavy layer and I'm super white and it's not terrible. I wouldn't model armpits with it, but it's ok for everything else. When you're wearing your favorite $500 silk blouse. Although if you like it, of course you should smell like roses :)
