Ready to wear, no break-in required
Very stylish and comfortable without the bulkiness that often comes with hiking boots. I took half a size up and it fits perfectly. I sprayed them with duct tape too and they stayed pretty dry even on a rainy weekend. They tie easily and I wore them on a hike for three days with no problems. If like me you prefer ankle socks, I definitely recommend wearing them with selvedge socks (like the Nike Karrimore) as my Achilles tendon started to hurt after a few hours in regular ankle socks. Otherwise they are perfect and I plan to wear them on future hikes.
