Review on πŸ›Œ Queen Size White Clara Clark Premier 1800 Series 4 Piece Bed Sheet Set by Sarala Cannon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not sure how to put an asterisk

I paid over $200 for a set of queen size bamboo leaves. So shriveled that I can't put the sheet on properly and the flat sheet barely covers the bed. So I thought I'd buy a microfiber kit. They're very soft, but not entirely cool - like most microfiber sheets, they're a bit warm. My mattress is 13 inches thick and although the corners of the sheet fit that depth, the elastic bottom just barely goes under the mattress. However, the elastic underside of the sheets does not fit under the mattress. Also, during the washing process, it was noted that the burgundy color of the sheets was not "fixed". this. The color has stained other items in the wash (this has never happened with other sheets). Learned to do the first wash separately. Makes 4 sets of queen bedding that will have trouble getting dressed after washing. I'm considering buying king size bedding to fit a queen size bed. I might consider buying a king-size fitted sheet, but Clara Clark doesn't just offer fitted sheets. I found another brand that only has the fitted sheet in burgundy but then I doubt it would match the Clara Clark brand. I think I could buy a full king size set from another brand and bet that the color chosen would actually fit a 13 inch mattress. I was looking for a set of pre-shrunk (or non-shrink) sheets but that description is hard to come by. I might be tempted to go for cotton or polyester. Too scared to try to buy more than $200. Considering the fit of the sheet and the issue of color bleed, I couldn't decide on a two or three star rating, but ultimately decided on three stars based on other positive qualities of the sheet.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Some quirks
