They have deep pockets with elastic running the full length of the sheet to keep them in place. I have had several sets for over 3 years and they have not "peeled" or wrinkled. Sheets are soft, great color and cut. I have both cotton and microfiber bedding and I personally find cotton better in every way, it breathes better and gets softer with every wash. Microfiber is much cheaper ($40 for good microfiber, $200 for good cotton) and has many great qualities for sheets. I paid over $200 for a set of queen size bamboo leaves. So shriveled that I can't put the sheet on properly and the flat sheet barely covers the bed. So I thought I'd buy a microfiber kit. They're very soft, but not entirely cool - like most microfiber sheets, they're a bit warm. My mattress is 13 inches thick and although the corners of the sheet fit that depth, the elastic bottom just barely goes under the mattress. However, the elastic underside of the sheets does not fit under the mattress.
