Review on INNOMAX Thunderbolt Convertor 2016 2018 Surface Silver by Dennis Wood

I can connect this to my tablet and transfer photos from the SD card slot to a connected external USB SSD using my tablet as a controller. The only limitation I found with this device is that the wall adapter that came with my s4 tablet was not able to deliver enough power through this device to keep my tablet charged. After upgrading to a more powerful wall box [ B079P11LBV ], I was able to charge my tablet and also power this device. I believe it has something to do with the power consumption of the device itself, which is to be expected for any multiport device. If only I had to make this product better. (a) Built-in USBc cable would be a little longer. When I connected it to my tablet, it hung crooked, and I'm afraid that this might damage the tablet's connector after long-term use (b). I'd like to see either more modern technology (more USB 3.0 or UHS-ii) or just adapters for smaller devices (no space for USB 2.0). **Full Disclosure: This is an updated summary. ** When I originally bought this device it was advertised with 3 USB 3.0 ports so I returned it shortly after initial testing. Innolife contacted me and corrected the product listing to show the correct information. I appreciate the fact that they took the time to contact me via email. Unfortunately I wanted something with multiple USB 3.0's (at least 2) and after careful consideration it was important to have both VGA and a 4k HDMI option.
