The product worked good. My engine was removed by the dealer while it was under warranty for another issue and now 60 hrs later the driveshaft has stripped. I suspected they didn't do an alignment when they reinstalled it and this tool confirmed it was out. I gave it 4 stars because the tool or manufacturers website doesn't have any instructions on it's use. Basically you mount the small bushing with 2 screws on the plate and then mount the plate where your jetpump goes. Tap in the silver muffin shaped piece into the plastic through hull piece. Stick the brass tube through your floating bearing and into the gear box. Stick the main alignment rod through both of the previously installed items. Push the main alignment rod until it hits or goes into the brass piece. If you need to adjust the engine then use heat on the allen head bolts (4 minutes per bolt) and loosen the rear of the engine. I broke one off before i employed the heat method. Slide and or lift the engine rear until this lines up and add shims until it's just right and tighten down. I replaced the bolts that hold the engine just because I broke one off and I really heated the other 3. Also before you begin run the seadoo at 4000rpm for 10 seconds and then kill it at the 4000 rpms, this gets the oil out of the gearbox so it doesn't leak during this process per the seadoo manual and seems to have worked as I didn't lose much oil.
