Convenient and fast scanner connection

This is an excellent OBD2 scanner for its intended purpose. I have a small repair shop and a full toolbox to scan. It doesn't compare to my $1,500+ professional diagnostic package, but it's not intended to. However, this scanner has one big advantage over all my other tools: it connects and loads very quickly, and it doesn't require any other special items. This tool loads faster than I can crawl from under the dash on most cars and can read codes within seconds of turning the key. Loading new cars with many modules on my professional scanner can take several minutes. If someone just wants to quickly check/clear engine codes, this thing is a life saver. I also have Bluetooth scanners that other brands make. It's good, and some have a few more features, but you need to have the app and go through the connection process. While it may be good, it's not loanable. With this scanner, I can easily loan it to a friend or potential client and they can scan and go without wasting time downloading the app. It's also a consideration for those who are less tech-savvy. The lack of plug-and-play hassles that this entails is definitely worth the purchase price. The only issue to consider is the short cord. It's long enough for most cars, but cars that hide the connector under the dash or on the passenger floor may be too short to reach comfortably from the driver's seat. However, the short cord means it fits easily in a glove box or small tool box and doesn't take up much space in my work truck, for example.
