4.5 Stars - I've been looking forward to the new version of Anker's slim wireless charging pad with Apple Watch component for many months. I travel quite a bit so many chargers have protruding elements that can break in carry-on or luggage situations. When I saw this product pop up in my recommendations, I knew I had to try it. All in all, the Anker Wireless Charging Cradle definitely delivers what I wanted. A clever cable management system helps eliminate the clutter commonly associated with these charging pads, and the rubber pieces on the device really help keep things in place. I tried this product in three configurations: no case, regular case, magnetic case (2nd generation with wireless charging). The first two scenarios are paid without any problems and in every possible combination of accommodations. However, the third scenario (magnet housing) is a bit difficult. The placement has to be PERFECT and it usually takes about 2-3 minutes to work. Although there is a warning label indicating there could be problems with metallic/magnetic elements, I was disappointed that this didn't work as my other wireless chargers (including an Anker product) have had more success. 1/2 star docked for this reason. PROS: - Compact and portable (big plus when traveling) - Minimizes unnecessary dangling cords - Charges with no issues in most typical cases - Anker quality and style CONS: - Small issue with magnetic cases (but expected and forewarned)
