I don't understand what people were expecting when they said they were disappointed with the difference between the picture/description and the actual product. Was I disappointed that my blue fly swatter wasn't as dark blue as the photo? Not on the list. My goal here is to kill insects not to appear in the next issue of Country Living Magazine. A few things these holders do: 1. The holes in the fly swatter and the flexible material allow you to hit it really quickly before the fly has time to leave it.2. The fly is pressed into the spikes and holds there well. I can turn the fly swatter all the way around and this guy is going nowhere. The feeling I get when I see a bitten insect in a fly swatter is incredibly pleasant. That's doubly nice because it doesn't leave a splattered bug on the wall to wash off afterwards. You can just go to your trash can and give it a little shake, and the insect will fall out immediately. Sometimes you need to somehow "encourage" them, but for that sign up here. If you don't like "manual" bugfixing that much, then you should still consider other options. It is made in the USA. Counting. Only a true American hero could create such an impersonally brutal device. Have you seen the seller proudly claim 904 SPIKES ON THE FLYCOAT?! 904 is a very conscious number. not 900, not 905. 904.
