I have a white noise machine at home and had been packing it to take on trips. It's bulky to put in a suitcase and inconvient to pack at the last minute. This little machine solved everything. I didn't expect the noise quality to be good but it's as good as my bigger machine, the battery life easily gets you through the night. I charged it every morning so I'm not sure how much longer it would last but you have at least 8 hours. It easily tucks in a the fullest packed suitcase and could go in a purse. There's several sound selections and the sound can be put low enough to barely hear and high enough for the people in the next hotel room over to probably hear. It was definitely a great purchase.
