Ripped in less than two months

I really liked this case. The price was low, the style was right (can we please get rid of the flashy and revamped designs on some of the cases?), but this case just doesn't last. Scratches even in a pocket. I picked this up in my backpack on a recent domestic flight and four hours later the lid was dented and worn and the case has somehow cracked on the brittle plastic near the power button and headphone jacks. No impact, no excessive pressure - nothing. Look I know you get what you pay for. I also know this is a great looking slim case with lots of great color options. But buy it for aesthetic reasons, and know that while it will prevent scratches on your iPad, it probably won't be drop-proof and smash-proof, especially if you put it in a bag with other items. I would buy it again for the price, sun protection and colors but beware buyers - beauty is sometimes superficial. UPDATE 13./19. September: Rating changed to 1 star. This case has deteriorated to the point where it is so cracked on the edges of my iPad that it doesn't even fit an iPad. I flew with him twice and he only left my bag for security checks and while in use. Otherwise he never left my bedside table. In less than two months, huge pieces of plastic broke immediately. I went back and passed my "window". Very dissatisfied, the seller does not answer. So much for brand integrity. Even for a case in this price range, I expect light use of over two months. Last time I let aesthetics guide my purchase. Absolute rubbish.
