Review on Premium Nutrition for Miniature Schnauzer Puppies: Royal Canin Dry Dog Food – 2.5 lb Bag by Nancy Ortega

Finally there is food that our puppy can eat!

We just adopted our Miniature Schnauzer puppy on October 17th. The breeder gave us what he ate and asked us not to change the food. The food was all natural, high quality, grain free food. Our pup struggled to eat it (chunks are too hard and big) and vomited even after we cut it into smaller pieces and soaked it. I also noticed that he scratches a lot and his skin is scaly. In desperation we ordered Royal Canin MS puppy food. Our pup liked him from the start and after a slow transition to Royal Canin he feels great. No more itching and flaking of the skin and above all no more vomiting. I've also noticed that he doesn't poop as much and his poop is well formed and not soggy. We read everything we could find about what to feed a dog and agonized over what to translate it into. Our older Schnauzer was recently switched to Royal Canin Veterinary Formula after she suffered a bout of pancreatitis. She will be 14 in a few months and is doing great at Royal Canin. We are very happy with the results we have had with this feed. Miniature Schnauzers struggle with digestive upset and skin issues, and many "natural" foods are too rich for them. We are very pleased that the feed was created especially for this breed. Many thanks to Royal Canin and Revain for stocking this food.
