Didn't give 5 stars because it didn't say anywhere (at least I couldn't find it) that the batteries were already there. So I had to open the battery compartment, see that batteries are in, even tried changing one (it was 2 extra batteries) and closing it again, despite the instructions saying opening the battery compartment would cause problems with the battery Water ingress can come from inside. Also, the instructions should point out that the thermometer will only read the temperature when it is submerged in water.
