Review on ๐ Achiever 5000W 12V DC Power Inverter by Dan West
The waveform did not remain a reverse wave as the load approached 1000 watts.
Does not work with Zoeller 0.3 HP drain pump because the output has changed sign to square. I called Aims tech support to see if this is a normal condition or if the unit I had was defective. He didn't seem to understand the difference between a modified sine wave and a square wave. The modified sine wave goes to positive voltage, then spends some time at zero voltage before going to negative voltage, then spends some time at zero voltage before going positive again. The square wave will not start the motor properly even if the output voltage is still 120 volts (rms).
