I really like this device. I only use it to watch movies stored on my 8-bay QNAP server. So far, the device has played everything smoothly, even Gemini Man in Dolby Vision at 60 frames per second without any problems. I don't compress my movies or copy them directly from a 4K disc before transferring them to my server and these movies play fine at 90+/- Mbps. I strongly recommend that you don't try to play ISO files that appear sluggish and stutter terribly. If you use DVDFab, you can choose "Rip Movie" and then "Main Movie" to save dynamic HDR formats like HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Sonically, this device recognizes and plays DTS-X and Dolby Atmos without any problems. Do not set EDID as this may disable DTS-X on your device. My only concern is that there is no LPCM logo on the device, but logos for Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, etc.) is in LPCM format, so I'm not sure why there is no logo for it are . If you're like me, you can tag movie filenames to get more accurate on-screen spec information. one. It was the Seven Commandments of Kung Fu. It's not exactly a popular movie, but I was still able to add my own cover art and background. It actually had the plot of the film and the actors responsible for it. If it matches the wrong film, 99% of the time you can easily fix it.
