Review on Alocs by Don Leblanc

The Quality of Products and Service at Alocs Outdoor Store Is Subpar.

I was eager to check out Alocs, an outdoor store that claimed to have everything a serious outdoorsman like me could ever need. Unfortunately, my time spent in the shop was really disappointing. To begin with, the standard of their goods was low. I was underwhelmed by the quality of the gear I bought from Alocs, despite the company's assurances that it serves the needs of "serious hikers and campers." The camping stove I bought was difficult to light and produced inadequate heat, and the hiking boots I bought fell apart after only a few usage. The service I received from the company's representatives was also less than stellar. The employees were uninterested in answering my queries or addressing my worries while I tried to find the equipment I needed. It was obvious that they cared more about earning a quick buck than they did about providing excellent service. Overall, if you're looking for high-caliber outdoor gear and service, I wouldn't suggest Alocs. Don't waste your money here; there must be a better store out there.

Pros
  • Lots of camping supplies in stock.
Cons
  • a restricted number of store locations in physical form.
