I love the tuners! My 03 TJ only has soft doors. I found the nut on the bottom very handy if you plan on leaving the doors open for long periods of time. However, I rebuild my doors and top every night. I didn't want to keep tightening and loosening them after we've been riding all day. I flattened one end of the threaded bolt just below the door bracket, took a small drill and drilled a hole big enough to put a small coupling pin through. I drilled a hole to keep the new pin from contacting the paint (factory padded stopper prevents the pin from turning too far into the paint). super easy installation and removal. With three soft stops, it sits securely on the foot. I love the product! Just a helpful tip if you're like me and open and close your jeep doors frequently.
