How could I ever do without one of them?
I've never owned a salad spinner - why? . Hmm interesting. I used it the day it arrived and wondered how I managed without it. Wet salad and fruit are torment. The problem is solved. One question - it is written that the bowl and colander can be washed in the dishwasher in the folded position. The lid/crank mechanism should be hand washed. The lid/crank mechanism is a difficult part to clean. Washing other folded parts will not clean the creases. A minor issue as it's just as easy to hand wash and will probably hold up better anyway. Excellent purchase!
