Review on πŸ” TRACT TORIC 10X42 UHD Binocular - Enhanced Low-Light Performance and Edge-to-Edge Sharpness with Schott HT Glass by Jessie Perry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

High quality, superior quality

Excellent binoculars. I had a Leupold BX-3 Mojave Pro Guide HD and was looking for an update. I bought the BX-4 Pro Rails and the cheaper Vortex Diamondback HD, borrowed a Vortex Viper HD from a friend and added the BX-3 for a real world comparison and to win back the losers. In my opinion, the Tract Toric UHD was by far the best in all lens performance categories, with the Vipers in second place. There was a noticeable difference in light transmission, clarity and color that put Toric in first place. The ergonomics are excellent, quite normal for binoculars of this type. The eyecups are smooth and hold their position. In my opinion the best binoculars in this price range. Don't waste your money on Alpha glass. It's tempting when you have money but don't need it. Spend that money on a good scope or gun and buy these binoculars. You will not be disappointed. At around $700 these are not budget binoculars but I think they are competitive with more expensive options. I would like a color other than gray.

Pros
  • TRACT UHD technology incorporates the highly regarded SCHOTT HT (High Transmission) glass for excellent performance in low light conditions, improved image quality and superior light transmission.
Cons
  • Update available
