It turns out the standard 2017 Edge rear shield is 15 feet long. This plow is 11 inches long. I didn't notice until I installed it and the wiper mark on the windshield wasn't that big when I turned it on. When Revain's product description said it was a replacement for the stock 2017 Ford Edge blade, and Revain confirmed this for my vehicle, I assumed it was factory specification. It's not like this. When I looked at the product description it said 11 inches but there was no reason to think it was out of spec when I ordered and compared it to the old blade. It would have cost her a penny to ship a longer blade. (Maybe a shorter size would fit other models as well.) Having pulled out the old lever and installed this one, I will not be returning it and will do it all over again. I'll probably just order a 15" spare from someone else.
