Make sure you have a puller to remove the old wiper. Otherwise you may break the back glass. The new part is easy to attach and installs in less than 5 minutes.

A wiper, especially a new one, has one function: to wipe water clean from the glass. This product does not smear or clean water. I will NEVER buy this brand again.

Why is this the best rear wiper arm I have ever bought? I did buy a battery terminal puller to remove the lever though, worried that the force I was using could damage the motor and window. It was probably just a wiper that was needed because the stalk doesn't move far enough away from the window to see where the problem is. Turns out Ford uses a pretty crappy arm mount that actually had to be replaced. but

According to the product information "This product meets or exceeds OEM specifications." My guess is that the wiper blade length is not included in the Ford specs as the replacement is a full 2" SHORTER than that Original. I'm not sending it back now because I'm going on a long journey and wanted a new blade. Obviously it's cleaning a smaller area and I'll have to replace it when I get back, but it's good enough for travel. I'll put it back in the box and ask for a refund later. Meanwhile…

It turns out the standard 2017 Edge rear shield is 15 feet long. This plow is 11 inches long. I didn't notice until I installed it and the wiper mark on the windshield wasn't that big when I turned it on. When Revain's product description said it was a replacement for the stock 2017 Ford Edge blade, and Revain confirmed this for my vehicle, I assumed it was factory specification. It's not like this.
