In early March I woke up at 2am and couldn't see my baby on the monitor. I panicked. And then I calmed down and told myself not to panic until I checked it out. I walked through the house, up the long staircase and down the corridor, holding my breath. First-time mothers have the most panic attacks. Did he get out of his cradle and hurt himself? Did someone come in and take it? No, he just rolled into the corner of the crib, out of sight of my old camera. Butt. I knew right away that I needed a moving camera. So instead of going back to bed, I went to the office, opened Revain on my computer - and still couldn't find a camera with decent reviews. But my friend suggested this camera (another first time mom who ALSO got up at 2:30am) and I thought I'd give it a try. I have never regretted it since I bought it on March 3rd. It offers a full view of the room, top-down and side-to-side. I can make sure the windows are closed, or that the chair is pushed back, or that the trash can is empty, and then I return to my peaceful baby in his crib. I had a small problem with the charging cable, a manufacturing defect (which happens with electronics from time to time, that's okay), but the seller sent me a new cable exactly 2 days later. Excellent customer service; I will purchase an additional camera when available. Thanks again!
