Review on Dritz 1/4-Inch White Wash Away Wonder Fabric Tape - 25 Yards by Kristen Reid

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for zippers

I bought this for zippers and it works great. It has just the right amount of stickiness to hold the zipper in place without being too sticky when you need to reposition it. It can usually be a bit difficult for me to keep zippers straight while sewing. When I use needles, they can wrinkle the zipper or fabric a bit, so you have to play around with it when sewing. Ribbon fixes this problem. This was especially helpful when I needed to sew on a 30 inch zipper. Definitely recommend and buy again. UPDATE (1-3-21): Three things: 1. Storage. If you don't plan on using everything at once. , I would recommend, Store the tape in a ziplock bag or other airtight container to keep the tape from drying out and losing its tack. not just the zippers - I've had to sew up some tight curved corners recently and it was tricky to keep the layers from slipping off so I used a bit of that to hold them in place and I was pleasantly surprised that it worked. I didn't realize the tape would be able to hold the layers together, especially with the added tension. It was very helpful! 3. Band Separation. It can be a bit tricky to separate the paper from the tape, but poke your fingernail in the corner a few times it helps separate the layers and they separate easily. I don't think the tape can hold the layers together, especially with added tension. It was very helpful! 3. Band Separation.
