We have a seasonal lot and our 12 year old 9 lb dachshund/beagle loves it! He enjoys being outside all day and this gives him enough shade and space to relax and take a nap. He used to lie under chairs or a picnic table but kept his tie wrapped around his legs. No, he doesn't feel like leaving the tent. In terms of durability, we forgot to secure it in one night and there was strong wind all night. Woke up to be gone. We found him in perfect order at the other end of the campsite. We have received many compliments and can only recommend it!
