Great tracking system but you need some tools to set it up

I built the tracking system out of metal rods, skate wheels and various other parts and it worked great until I took it out into the wild . I ended up giving it up because it was hard to pack up and take backcountry. Fast forward to today when I got this system and set it up with a drill press and it works great. The slider works great with my 1RPM motor for stable and smooth tracking. If you have the tools, you can create an amazing tracking system. You will need a drill press to make a straight hole and then use a tap and die set on the 1/4" screw you will use to mount the ball head. I have some really cool time lapses. I will use this in the future. Time will tell how well it holds up, but I'll be taking it on a few hikes and trips around town to see how it performs.
