This is a handy little tool! I had him cut some buttons to smooth them out for a craft project I'm doing. I had a small problem with my first two buttons, but I think it was my fault. The tool works fine as long as you hold the buttons at the top of the tip. I've used this on about 15 buttons and it's really easy to use. Tails fly off so keep kids and pets away when using this! The packaging says "do not use with metal shafts". I've only used it on plastic so far so I'm not sure if it won't work on metal or if it's just harder on the tool itself. I will buy it again if I need another one.
