Sometimes I like a good corn dog and I wait patiently for our local festivals/fairs each year where I can enjoy some good root dogs. Problem is there is a year wait between festivals/fairs so I tried different brands of frozen root dogs but none of them impressed me. And then one day I read a recipe for homemade corn dog dough and decided to order these sticks and cook them myself. I was amazed at how well these skewers paired with the corn dog recipe (which turned out great). The point is, these sturdy, well-made skewers allow me to make amazing root dogs whenever I feel like it.
