I want to be as objective as possible in this review. In this context I will start with the positive aspects. All thoughts below are my opinion and should be understood as such. Pros: The lightbar is very light The lightbar is very compact The power cord comes out at the rear edge of the end cap The cord is a good length Cons: It is very cheaply made Lenses on the side are already showing signs of denting and detachment There are tool marks on the aluminum body present The paint rubs off with good wear I wanted to see the interior product so I unscrewed the screws and looked Likely it will never stay dry inside and won't impede water penetration. The plastic is too long and when the front support bars are removed it flexes and springs back at you. The gaskets on the end caps are very flimsy and cheap. I decided to seal the entire light bar with clear silicone. Sealant. At this point it dries. I will try to continue this review. Conclusion: I don't know if I would buy it again. This is not a quality product. It's definitely not worth $49.xx. If I had to look at the price, my guess would be $20.xx. Again, this is just my opinion and that's it. I really wanted to like that light stripe. I bought it on sale for $39.99 but I feel like I paid too much. I'm the one who went for the silicone lantern so I don't expect the seller to give me a refund but...wouldn't refuse if they did lol!
