I've had my eye on these boots for a long time. I was debating whether to get it for myself or for my son. I decided to buy these for my son and even if they are a bit too fancy for him my daughter's boyfriend might like them as he is the same size. - Colored gloss trim along/under the laces and on the heel. I've tried to capture this in my photos but I only use a cheap Galaxy phone camera so I can't really show how shiny the finish is other than to say MIRROR BRILLIANT. These are luxury shoes and I don't know any flashy types. And if I knew, and they were really luxurious, I would assume that they want to put a big name on their shoes and not "UMYOGO" which is prominently displayed. I would wear them on the other hand because I like a slight flare and would therefore like to order in my own size. Too generous, as usual. With that said, let me look at the materials and construction: they look like well-made shoes. The materials don't look cheap. Even the finish is thick and doesn't look like it's going to peel or anything. Tailoring looks strong, the sole is thick, good rubber. I stepped in them and they feel nice and comfortable on the insoles. This is a good shoe if you are aware of the finish and don't mind.
