Looks like a structured, cropped military style holdall but with some luxe features. The main compartment of the bag is accessed from the top, although the side zips (where the water bottle is featured in the product photo) allow some access but not that you can take large items out through this opening. The back wall is closed. lightly padded for comfort. The straps are nicely padded. The front has two flat zipped compartments and the top "lid" has a small zipped compartment. Otherwise, it doesn't have many sections and complex subdivisions. The limitation of this bag is that you have to dig deep or take everything out to get to the things below. This isn't a bag that opens so you can see everything, but if you're looking for a comfortable backpack that you can carry a lot of things in, this bag is great. It's like a big bag with zippers, shape and nicer material.
