I was on vacation and lost my laptop cable. I ordered this replacement home after my vacation and bought another one at another store for $30. It was able to start my laptop but not charge my battery. Pooh! I charged my devices on the way back using my laptop plugged in as a charger, I couldn't use it during the flight, then returned this useless piece of junk. When I got home I was pleased/excited that this replacement cable worked GREAT! It costs less and I'm a big fan of velcro straps that keep the cable tidy! Don't let the cost fool you, this cable and my Dell are very happy together!
