According to the product rating, the product can be returned within 12 months without any problems. It's been six weeks and this charger is out of order. I keep getting messages that the Dell laptop cannot detect the adapter. Stop loading. Doesn't stick well and keeps falling out. According to Revain, the return period has passed and the return is expected to be hassle-free for 12 months. What should I do?

My previous Dell cable was chewed by dogs and cannot be repaired. I tried the universal adapter which only provided power but didn't charge the battery. I was looking for an adapter for my Dell Inspiron 3000 (3558) and found this cable. Even if the 4.5mm jack sticks out a bit, the laptop is powered and fully charged. The length of the cable is decent and although it wasn't listed for 3558 in the description it still worked.

Connection fits like a glove. The Dell Inspiron 15 (5565) works/runs/works while the battery is charging and the laptop shows/turns on the charging icon showing the battery percentage. I installed a new laptop battery before receiving this charger and the battery did not charge. This charger charges a new battery quickly and fully. Note. This charger does not have a charge indicator LED to indicate proper operation and to help troubleshoot certain issues.

I was on vacation and lost my laptop cable. I ordered this replacement home after my vacation and bought another one at another store for $30. My original Dell charger started cracking and then broke into different pieces. While the wires inside were still sheathed, this created a dangerous situation.
