Review on 🦷 HAAN Toothpaste - Enhanced Protection Without Parabens by Tracey Navasca

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Excellent ingredients. I love the concept and the flavors but there are no refills available at the moment.

I would rate this 5 stars if refills were available to see the cost and number of refills in a bag. This company has already implemented this concept with hand sanitizer and have replacement parts for it, so I assume they will list them at some point, but I refuse to list anything as a refill unless I can also see the savings thereby gives. It's not cheap toothpaste either. At $9 a bottle, it's better to do what it says. From my research, the active ingredients (hydroxyapatite and xylitol) are known to help restore oral health. the dentin of your teeth. It is so strong and reliable due to the high concentration of hydroxyapatite in tooth enamel. When we eat or drink, bacteria enter the body, attacking the hydroxyapatite and weakening the outer protective barrier, leading to tooth decay. Toothpastes that contain hydroxyapatite (which replaces the fluoride found in many traditional toothpastes) can create a barrier on the tooth surface. This barrier protects teeth from sugars and acids that wear down teeth. For best results, do not rinse your teeth after brushing to allow hydroxyapatite to remain on your teeth and create this barrier. If you suffer from tooth sensitivity, hydroxyapatite toothpaste can help your teeth become less sensitive as it strengthens the enamel. Brain. Hydroxyapatite is non-toxic and biocompatible, meaning the body recognizes this substance as something that should be there. Another problem with fluoride is that it kills ALL the bacteria in your mouth, not just the bad guys. Hydroxyapatite toothpaste prevents acid exposure but does not destroy the oral microbiome, leaving behind "good bacteria" that help protect teeth and gums from disease. XYLIT Xylitol is a sugar alcohol derived from birch and other types of deciduous trees and plants. Xylitol is said to improve dental health, has a sweet taste but, unlike sugar, does not convert to acids in the mouth that can contribute to tooth decay. Research is mixed as to whether this ingredient actually leads to less tooth decay compared to traditional ingredients like fluoride, but as far as I can tell it definitely doesn't lead to worse results and you don't have to deal with neurotoxicity like fluoride does. The pack contains 3 flavors: Good on Ya (eucalyptus and mint), Life's a Beach (tea and mint) and Apple a Day (green apple and mint). I tried all 3 and found the flavors smooth and enjoyable and pretty much catered for all tastes. I was pleasantly surprised by Eucalyptus & Mint as I don't like eucalyptus in general. which can easily dominate the product. The mint was definitely on top of the eucalyptus, so I can use all of that. The consistency is thinner than we're used to from regular toothpastes, but still thick enough to get just the right amount on the brush. Overall I really like this toothpaste and will come back and update the rating to 4 or 5 stars when they get the refills listed depending on the price point.
