perfect for wahoo + zwift

works great. I bought it to use with my Wahoo Smart Trainer, computer and Zwift. Works just like Garmin but at half the price.

Pros
  • test year
Cons
  • Hard to remember but

Buy something else good for computers and accessories

Tried everything and after weeks of trying several people to get it working, NOTHING. There are no drivers for this crap. Nothing works. Useless purchase. Do not worry.

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Some bugs

works fine for my Zwift setup

This is connected to my WIN7 PC running Zwift. The sensor connects to my Garmin heart rate monitor, Wahoo cadence sensor, and my Wahoo kicker. So far everything works great.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Approximately

Works great with the Zwift app

Easy to set up with my laptop, syncs quickly, have been using it for two weeks now, no problems, no dropouts on Zwift while driving, the cable that comes with is nice and long It's handy flat on the ground parallel to my Cyclops Hammer smart trainer, also measures Garmin cadence from a bike and my Garmin heart rate watch also works with no issues.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Expensive

Not compatible with Zwift

No drivers available so Windows 10 uses generic ones. In Zwift, you can pair with the device, but Zwift cannot control the trainer. A little search of the net and found this to be a known issue with this product. The company said the issue is fixed but I am still facing this issue and only bought this key in November. There was no help or driver information on the company's website. Much luck

Pros
  • Dope 🔥

Has stopped working after 3 months

I bought this product to use with my Wahoo Kickr and bike units in January 2021. The key lock stopped working after 3 months - on April 5th. The quality of the device is ok and I'm not sure if the signal strength was high as it dropped out randomly while driving. Honestly, this can be due to a number of reasons for glitches. It generally worked and wasn't a big problem until the dropouts increased and eventually it stopped working. After a few hours of diagnostics the key is now unusable and I…

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Plug and play to solve Bluetooth no signal problem on Zwift!

I bought this after having trouble connecting to Zwift via Bluetooth when the companion stays connected but got 'no signal' after I started using this dongle fixed this issue, but sometimes it turns off immediately. Connection or something and the watts drop to 0, they go back up. Not too often, but still annoying. I used to leave it on the floor next to a smart trainer, but I've found that once I started hanging it next to the rear brake (my bike has rim brakes), that signal loss was greatly…

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Plug and play to solve Bluetooth no signal problem on Zwift!

I bought this after some problems connecting to Zwift via bluetooth where the companion stays connected but 'no signal' after I started using this dongle, fixed this issue, but sometimes it would happen like instant connection drop or something and the performance drops to 0 and they go back up. Not too often, but still annoying. Problems, problems, problems

I have a technical background and have put too much effort into making this work reliably with Zwift. I ended up buying a Bluetooth heart rate monitor so I didn't have to use ANT+ and it's been reliable ever since. I didn't realize it until later when I was using another external device to control my speakers at the time * It was random if it found my ANT+ devices at all. This device does not respond to ANT+ commands when running diagnostic tools (open source)* USB ANT+ devices will disconnect…

  • GOLS certificate

Keeps disconnecting from my devices

Edit: I kept searching the internet to see if anyone had a solution to my problem. It turns out there are two different control methods on Wahoo ergometers. The first method is the direct Kickr log. The second method is the ANT-FEC protocol. The direct protocol is generally supposed to be "better", which is why I chose this method. I was able to find a small note in a Zwift Community post about the first method causing reset issues and the second method should be used instead. I switched to the
