Review on 🧦 Darn Tough Tactical Boot Extra Cushion Sock: Superior Comfort and Durability for Tactical Footwear by Jerry Frey

I bought these heavy socks to wear with classic leather boots in cold, wet winter weather. I wanted something that would keep my feet warm and comfortable for standing in uninsulated leather boots for an hour and they would definitely do the job. They are two or three times thicker than regular Darn Tough or other wool hiking socks. When I first took them out of the box I thought they were folded in half but they are so thick. They take the shape of the foot well and stretch well. They are very comfortable to wear, but take up about a quarter of the shoe size. So if your shoes are already tight, they will likely be uncomfortable. I usually buy my boots a half size larger and then throw in more comfortable insoles so these socks work well with a work boot insole. I beg and am very surprised how much material has been invested for such a price.
