I needed this adapter to use hole cutter on my drill. I was desperate and scared it might not be true. But it works perfectly with no noticeable wear. Turns tight and precise. Works perfectly. But the two 5mm hex screws are sloppy, like you're using the wrong hex wrench. It came with an Allen key and it was very casual and loose. I thought they sent a cheap hex wrench so I started using my socket wrench to tighten it. Vain. Whether I use my American set or my metric set, the tightest hex will still be loose. Thus, the hex head in the screw is a cheap, shoddy assembly. But it holds enough to tighten the socket head screws on my core bits and then my core bits rotate just and right so everything works fine. My complaint is not enough for a star deduction, because in the long run it really works great. And if I ever need to replace the set screw with a better one, no big deal. But the 30 times we've used it, it works exactly how we want it to.
