Review on Battery Tester Ancel BT500 Bluetooth Battery Load Tester For All 12 Volts Solar Power Systems/RVs/Motorcycles/Boats/Cars/Trucks With Charging System/Cranking Test (Update Version Of BM300) by Drew Gengler

I wasn't looking for this monitor when I found it on Revain. I work in the motorsports industry and have never seen anything like this in the dealerships and shops I frequent. And since I'm an electronics freak who is also involved in motorsports, I had to try this. Before ordering, I checked out the Ancel Battery Monitor app on the iOS store. There were only 4 reviews back then with three 5 star reviews and one 1 star review, the app looked promising so I ignored the one negative review and ordered. be smaller than expected, measuring 3 ¾" wide x 2" long x 7/8" thick. (Tapered design, see image below for dimensions). The two lead wires are approximately 7" long with open clips at the end. Installation I just had to connect the cables to the positive and negative terminals of my bike's battery.I then went into the app expecting to have to play around with bluetooth connections but the monitor was already paired with my phone and showing the current battery voltage.Sweet !(See picture.) From that moment I started the motorcycle and ANCEL BM300 showed the current charging rate and battery voltage, showing the battery voltage in a line graph.(See picture) Then I did a charging test and the charging voltage was idle and displayed at high speeds.(See Fig.) ANCEL BM300 also performs a start up test which shows the start up voltage as a number as well as a line graph. Note. I like that the A pp shows good readings in green and low or bad readings in red. Ancel also has a trip setting that gives you a history showing the time and duration of a vehicle (car, motorcycle, etc.). The app also has some additional features in the system setup that allow you to set two separate alarms. in % of your choice. These signals will remind you when the battery level is below the selected percentage, I configured 70% and 50%. You can also choose Daily Power Notification or Abnormal Scrolling Notification. So far I am very impressed with the functionality and ease of use of the ANCEL BM300. The Bluetooth range is long enough that I can check my bike's battery status from my living room since it's 30 feet away in a concrete block garage. The only negative I can think of is that the Ancel Battery Monitor app can only work with one monitor at a time as far as I can. If this would work with more than one vehicle, I would buy one each for my truck and camper. I would also have an additional monitor to diagnose battery/charging issues on motorcycles and SUVs that I encounter at work.
