This is my 4th Boss radio in 5 years! Installation is done on the boat, which stands on the boat lift when not in use. Complaint number one is that the LED/LCD gets covered by moisture/condensation shortly after the radio is turned on. I don't think it's just because it's installed on my 15ft boat. Other pressure gauges do not have this type of condensate. Other reviewers noted the same issue with condensation on the display. To keep moisture out, I always leave the radio on at the lowest possible volume. This will keep the radio warm/hot enough to get rid of the moisture and prevent it from reappearing. Of course, the charger supports the battery. The problem is that with the radio on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week the radio will heat up noticeably and I think this will result in a short radio life. Indication of condensation problems when installed in a humid environment. It's humid in Florida. So since the radio is relatively cheap compared to other radios of the right size, I prefer to put up with the frequent replacement. Another reason to keep replacing Boss with Boss is that the radio handles the two speakers very well at high volumes.
