I installed this snowman lantern in my office 2 weeks ago and I've gotten so many compliments on it and asking people where to get it. It comes in a red colorful box and well wrapped in foam. The transparent part is plastic so be careful with it. It requires 3 AA batteries to operate, or you can use the USB port. I use batteries so I don't have to mess with cables. There are 3 modes: off, lights only and lights and music on. The music is loud, there is no volume control but I would like to. The three snowmen are well drawn and the moving sparks are so relaxing to watch them twirl around. I love this as a Christmas and winter decoration. They also make great gifts.
