I was able to use this to hide Uverse and Apple TV Box in a closet with this one device. I routed the receiver wire from the bottom of the TV where I attached it with the clear command strip. At the end of the closet I used a command strip hook to attach the end of the transmitter to the closet door. The Uverse box and Apple TV sit on top of each other about 4 inches apart. A block will then control both well. This has been working for 8 months and I no longer have to open the closet door for the remote to control each device.
