The quality is better than some photos, although

and was pleasantly surprised by the build quality. Haven't had a chance to ride in them yet but they fit just as expected. I wear 36/32 jeans, bought 34-36/32 and they fit perfectly with lining and jeans underneath. The way the lining is attached seems functional, with two multicolored buttons that match the colored loops on the leg and a zip fastening around the waist. I suspect that the patient probably never uses earplugs. If you plan on using them as pants with nothing underneath I wouldn't recommend it. the inner pockets that house knee pads and leg armor are closed with velcro, and without pants underneath, the legs are scratched. I'll probably get some really light pants to wear underneath in warmer weather. The bottom of the pant is definitely not wide enough to put on motocross/adventure boots, they have to go inside. They will probably be fine with shorter boots. As others have said, the mesh in the crotch definitely limits its ability to remain waterproof. but I'll be using them for commuting in Southern California, so it never rains here anyway. It appears to be the same size zipper, but the plastic at the end seems deformed and won't fit through the zipper on my Olympic jacket. I'll probably just sew on the other half of the zipper that came with my jacket to make it work. to compare it to others i had i would say its 60% quality of the klim dakar pants, for 25% of the price.

Pros
  • is very impressive
Cons
  • there are more interesting options.
