We had problems with the X-Box One (described below) and this power supply saved the day. Our X-Box One works great again! Here is a short description of the problem, maybe it will help someone else: We have had our X-Box One for less than 2 years. Just long enough to be out of warranty. It's only been running sporadically lately. It will try to start, get to the loading screen, and then just shut down. I would go through Microsoft's help procedure to reset the console and power supply and if I'm lucky the X-Box is able to fully boot after 5-10 tries. I was beginning to believe that this was actually the start of a more serious hardware failure within the console itself. After researching on the Internet, I found that similar symptoms are related to the power failure. I was dismayed to see Microsoft charging $60 for a replacement. It's a lot of money trying something that may or may not solve the problem. When I saw this one I thought $30 was a good price to try. I am very satisfied with the result. Additional note on noise: I've noticed in several reviews that this power supply is very noisy. I don't want to discount their concerns but thought I'd provide my own observations. Our disc reading console makes more noise than the power adapter. I can't tell any difference in noise between this and the original when my X-Box was new. Hope this helps someone!
